Who is Casey DeOtis?
I am, first and foremost, a proud Mom of six kiddos (an amazing blended family of 3 boys and 3 girls) who inspire me everyday while my husband, John, is my high school crush and best friend.
You can usually find me rockin' yoga pants, a messy bun, and most likely a frappuccino in one hand with a camera in the other.
Over the past decade,
I am, first and foremost, a proud Mom of six kiddos (an amazing blended family of 3 boys and 3 girls) who inspire me everyday while my husband, John, is my high school crush and best friend.

Over the past decade, my clients have entrusted me with their most precious life moments. I thrive on those connections and relationships that keep me inspired and keep them coming back to me year after year. I LOVE what I do and I strive to provide a relaxed, nurturing, and upbeat experience as your personal paparazzi. I want to capture your individuality at each shoot so snapping those "in between" candid
moments is my favorite!
When I set my camera down, I enjoy: being on the water, "glamping"/dirt bike tracks, laughing/making people laugh, tacos/margaritas, family time, snuggling any/all babies, Starbucks, Netflix, and long quiet walks alone through Target.
I consider myself "professionally unprofessional" as it is a business but let's have some fun
while we're at it.

F.A.Q.'s
Do you take indoor photos?
For the most part, I prefer outdoor photos for the natural lighting as well as the magic that comes along with the freedom of excess space! My newborn sessions are in-home and I can make some exceptions with indoor options if need be.
What the heck should I wear?
I always suggest looking at examples and color pallets for the season on Pinterest or other searches. Layers are always a great way to add dimension, solid colors and mild prints, try to stay away from any logos or screen printing. Feel free to contact me with questions on specific outfits and colors or send me your ideas/options so we can establish a great plan!
What if the weather does not cooperate?
Well, we do live in MN and we never know what is around the corner. If it rains (or other weather related issues), I will do my best to find a convenient rescheduled date that works for everyone.
How long will it take to get my digital gallery of photos?
That can depend on the season and how busy I am but I do my best to deliver your images within 2-3 weeks for most sessions. If for some reason it takes longer, I will let you know and keep you informed along the way.
Where should I get my photos printed?
This is an excellent question that can be tricky to answer. For an affordable online option, I like MPIX and Snapfish. If you're looking for higher quality, I prefer ProDPI but there are many professional high quality printing companies online to choose from.
From personal experience, I do not recommend Walgreens, Costco, or Sam's Club. I'm sure these vary from store to store but I have not had good outcomes with color correction and printing quality.
